The Kinabalu Park covers a staggering area of 754 sq. km. (291 sq.mi.). Established as a state park 1964, this botanical paradise is blessed with an astonishing variety of flora and fauna that ranges over 4 climate zones, from the rich lowland dipterocarp forest through the montane oak, rhododendron, and coniferous forests, to alpine meadow plants. And stunted bushes of the summit zone. Kinabalu Park has probably one of the richest flora collection in the world.

  • Day 2 (TRANSFER TO KINABALU PARK / LABAN RATA)

    Transfer to kinabalu park meet your mt guide and collect your climbing id, collect your box lunch at balsam café.
    0900hrsDepart by vehicle to timpohon gate 4.5 km starting point at (1,866.4 m) where the trail start. Nearby, lies Carson’s waterfalls where you can refresh yourself. From here, depending on your fitness level, it is an approximate 4 to 5 hours climb for the day. The trail winds up a steep staircase of gnarled tree-roots to a mossy world of drifting clouds and orchid-draped trees. Where pitcher plants and rhododenrons abound.

  • Day 3 (SUMMIT MT.KINABALU / KOTA KINABALU)

    0130hrsWakeup & 2am Supper at Laban Rata.
    After a night of rest, it’s off again on the climb to catch a magnicient sunrise on the summit.
    Most climbers leave at 2.30am for a 3-hours track but again, this depends on your fitness level. In the dark, you can see the beam of torchlighs as the procession of climbers trudge higher and higher.
    There are ladders, hand railings and ropes to help you over the steeper parts. You reach your final destination at Low’s Peak, the summit of Borneo at 4,095.2 m. as you wait in the cold, dawn gradually creeps over horizon, illuminating the darkness with the ligh of new day.
    In clear weather, you can almost see all of Sabah spread out below. From this vantage point, you’ll also see a dramatic drop more than 1,000 m down-Low’s Gully. After photo taken at summit, you descent and give chance to another climber to experience the Summit.
    Descent back to Laban Rata for Buffet Breakfast.
    After packing, continue descent all the way to Timpohon Gate. Once reach at Timpohon Gate transfer to Kinabalu Headquarters for lunch at Balsam restaurant.

  • Day 4 (KOTA KINABALU / TEMBURONG)

  • Failure to do the deposit within the stipulated period, your reservation will be automatically cancelled without any notification.
