Q: Why should I book with Borneo Trekker Tours?A: Borneo Trekker Tours is licensed tour operator with supported and guidance of Brunei Tourism under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Hence, we provide license number which protected by TAIB Insurance, the Winner of 2015 TripAdvisor and Experienced guides.
Q: How do i make a payment?1. Cash
We accept cash payment, either in Singapore or Brunei dollars (These currencies are on par). We would prefer to accept Brunei dollars. But, we would love to accept your foreign currencies as well. If you’re not happy with the rates, we will guide you to the nearest foreign exchange counter.
2. Credit Card
For credit card payment, we accept through a secured gateway ‘Paypal’. You do not need to have a Paypal account to make a payment. Below are the steps to follow when you want to make a booking:
a. Send us an e-mail with the information – Package Code, Number of Guests, Date of Tours, Contact Number.
b. Then, we will send you an e-mail with a link to Paypal payment.
c. Once your payment is received, we will contact you to confirm your booking.
3. Telegraphic Transfer
A payment of 100% of the total amount has to be transferred into our bank account to confirm your bookings. We will send you an e-mail to confirm with you when your payment has been received.
Q: How do i book a tour?A: Please fill in the contact form. Upon receiving, we will send you an invoice via Paypal whereby you can pay using credit card.
Q: How can I customize my tour? Will I pay more for it?A: Please fill up the form. After submission, we will have the details to customize a tour for you. If the customized itinerary needs amendment, until final, we then come up with a quotation. If you’re happy, then we’ll issue an invoice.
Q: How to confirm my tour?A: Full payment must be made at least 3 weeks before the tour begins to confirm the booking.
Cancellation Policy30% cancellation fee will be applicable for any cancellations made after confirmation more than 72 hours.
50% cancellation fee will be applicable for any cancellations made within 72 hours, but outside 24 hours, prior to departure date.
100% cancellation fee will be applicable for any cancellations made within 24 hours prior to departure date or for no show cases.
A booking cancellation will only be considered cancelled upon written acknowledgement from us.
Q: Do you provide pick-up and drop off at Muara Port?A: Yes, we do pick up and drop off at Muara Port.
Q: Do you provide cater tour for people of disabled/wheelchair?A: No, we do not have the facilities to cater to such needs yet.
Q: Do you provide cruise ship tours?A: Yes, we do provide Sit-In-Coach (SIC) as well as private tours.
Q: How do I get to the jetty from Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) to Temburong?A: The jetty from BSB to Temburong is around the city area at Jalan Residency (Residency Road). You do not need to take bus or taxi, it is within a walking distance of 5 – 10 mins. For more information, please follow this link: map to jetty
Q:How is the schedule of boats from the jetty in Temburong and BSB?A:
BSB -> Temburong
First Boat : 7:00 am
Last Boat : 5:15 pm
Temburong -> BSB
First Boat : 6:00am
Last Boat : 4:30pm
*We strongly advise the arrival at jetty half an hour before last boat.
Q: How long does the boat ride take?A: It takes approximately 45 minutes from Bandar Seri Begawan to Temburong.
Q: Do you cater vegetarian meals?A: Yes, we do upon advanced request. We will let you know if unable to prepare your meal.
Q: Is the water safe to drink?A: Yes, we only serve boiled water to our guests. But, if you are still uncertain about our drinking water, you can buy bottle water from us.
Q: Can I use other currency for my shopping? Is it acceptable?A: Brunei Dollars is on par with Singapore Dollars (SGD). SGD is also acceptable in all places including stores, hotel, restaurant, etc. We will give you directions to the nearest foreign exchange counter.
